Café takeaway and delivery now available!

At the moment we are not offering food delivery and have put our café takeaway, online ordering website on hold for the time being.
You can still pop in for take-out including fresh coffee, cakes, sweet treats and quiches.
Also, we are still taking special orders for whole cakes - please contact us to discuss your requirements!

Whole cakes and sweet treats now added to the menu!
We've added some of our most loved cakes to our takeaway and delivery menu. Now, with 48 hours notice, we can bake and deliver you a full cake or dessert! Favourites such as lemon meringue, Bakewell tart, banoffee pie, double chocolate cake, luxury sticky toffee cake and salted caramel cheesecake are among those to have made the list so far!
If there is something in particular you would like please give us a call and we will do our best to help.

Upon collection we have a one way system in place. Entry to the café will be through the top door and out through the main entrance.

Our opening hours are now:
Tuesday - Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm
Saturday 9.30am - 5.00pm
Sunday 10.00am - 4.00pm
Our café is back for:
Pre-ordered food and drink collection or delivery.
A walk-in, take-out service for fresh coffee, cakes and sweet treats only.
Our walk-in opening hours and online order collection is Tuesday - Saturday, 10.00am - 3.30pm. You can also choose to have your online order delivered to your home from 10:30am - 3:30pm on these days.
We are offering a selection of bk boxes which include some of our favourite, signature dishes. Quiche and salad, cream tea, afternoon tea and treat boxes for you to enjoy. We even have a 'taste of the kiln lunch box' with quiche, salad, cake and a scone!
How it all works
All orders must be paid for online/via phone or by contactless payment on collection.
Request delivery or collection between our operating hours, Tuesday - Saturday, 10.00am - 3.30pm.
Free delivery within the DE7 6 Postcode. Orders for this service will be pre-paid.
Your food will be ready for you to collect from our order collection point or delivered to your requested address.
Take your goodies away with you, please don’t eat them on the premises.
For those simply wanting a lovely coffee and cake to take away, you can drop in without ordering, Tuesday-Saturday, 10.00am - 3.30pm
